Great Wolf Lodge Kansas City offers its guests a complimentary water park, 4 indoor swimming pools, and 2 spa tubs along with a lazy river and a waterslide. The prices they charge for everything (from the room, to the food, to the games, and all the other extras) are ridiculous for what you get. But overall, I would never stay at a Great Wolf Lodge again.

The water was a bit cold at night as we were there in November, but the next day it was a bit warmer. The water park is okay, but as adults we got bored after an hour as there is not much to do. The beds are only double, not even queen, and are very uncomfortable. Our microwave was disgusting and when we made popcorn it smelled like vomit and we had to put it out on the balcony because the stench was so bad. The room is not a true suite as there is only a half wall between the beds and couch, and the size of the room is no larger then a regular hotel room. We arrived in our room to find broken glass on the floor from a broken lightbulb. We stayed in one of their basic "suites", so perhaps the other room are nicer, I would hope they are. Posted by Deb, from Bella Vista, AR on Mar 2, 2017 Upon arrival we got a text message from "Ivy" inviting us to text her with problems or concerns. The water park is fabulous and well staffed from the attentive life guards to the associates who routinely monitored the adult-only hot tub and sent the youngsters to the other hot tub. Jammie Jamborie, Story Time and Kiddie Yoga were fabulous for our almost three year old, but we skipped the scavenger hunt because the activity and price is more suited for an older child. The "order of the menu" and breakfast buffet were great values with good service, but skip their pizza. This is THE place to get away with children for a winter weekend, but be prepared to open your wallet. They were fabulous about getting us in the proper accommodations and I didn't even have to tell them how upset I would be if we had the prior arrangements at the cost charged. The people at the desk knew exactly what to do to rectify the situation because this is a frequent problem between the two. When we got to the room, we had one bed and a fold out couch, and we had booked two beds and a fold out through Travelocity.
